Physical Exams

The Pediatrics Clinic recommend that infants & toddlers have well visits at two weeks, two, four, six, nine, 12, 15, 18-months, and at two & 2.5 years. Children three to 18 years old should have an annual physical exam. Physicals can be booked 60 to 90 days in advance. Please mark your calendar and schedule in a timely manner.

Urgent or Emergency

If your child is experiencing the symptoms below, please seek care via urgent or emergency care.

  • Vomiting or diarrhea causing signs of potential dehydration
  • Respiratory difficulty
  • Severe pain
  • Fever lasting longer than three days, or not responding to Tylenol or Motrin

Acute Appointments

Acute appointments are for illnesses that are present, but not causing serious symptoms. Examples include:

  • Acne
  • Allergies
  • Ear infections
  • Minor illnesses
  • Minor rashes
  • Ringworm
Routine appointments are booked by the Appointment Line. They may be booked 60+ days in advance.

Follow-up Appointments

A follow-up is booked when a provider requests to see a child for follow-up care or by a parent whose child is due for evaluation or medication changes, such as:

  • Otitis Media
  • Rash
  • Newborn
  • Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)

The following require bi-annual follow-ups:

  • Asthma
  • ADHD
  • Diabetes
  • Seizures

Follow-up appointments may be booked up to 60 days in advance.
