Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention and Treatment (ADAPT)

The ADAPT Program promotes readiness, health and wellness through the prevention and treatment of substance abuse as a medical service. ADAPT is not a punitive program.

Services Provided

  • Assessment and treatment for substance abuse, misuse and gambling
  • Education and prevention briefings

Support for Air Force Responsible Drinking Programs

The ADAPT Program provides services to Active Duty service members. GS civilian employees are eligible for an initial substance abuse evaluation and referral services will be provided at no cost to the employee by the Employee Assistance Program, the ADAPT Program, or equivalent IAW AFMAN 44-198 Air Force Civilian Drug Demand Reduction Program.
