Specialty Care Services

If you're a veteran with an approved community care referral for certain specialty care, you may be able to choose MOMMC as your preferred provider! If MOMMC can provide the service you need, the VA will send us the referral, and our staff will contact you to schedule an appointment. Depending on your particular needs, we are able to extend the following specialty care services to veterans:

• Cardiology
• Ear-Nose-Throat (ENT)
• Gastroenterology
• General Surgery
• Orthopedics (including spine surgery)
• Vascular Surgery

Services and availability may vary.

Hospital Care Services

MOMMC's Trauma Center and Emergency Department are also available to veterans. All patients, regardless of the ability to access the base, may be transported to the Trauma Center & Emergency Department via ambulance. Department of Defense Identification Cardholders may access the Trauma Center & Emergency Department by any mode of transportation.

Base Access for Veterans

If you are Veteran Identification cardholder (pictured below), you may obtain a 24 – 72 hour base pass for yourself at the Visitor Center located at the Main Gate of Nellis Air Force Base prior to your medical appointment. Any guests must apply for a base access pass.

If you are not a Veteran Identification cardholder, base access passes may be requested when making your appointment. You may also contact the clinic where you have an appointment (at least 5 days prior to appointment). If you have a driver or someone that must accompany you, please request a base access pass for them as well.
