The most recent appropriations for the Department of War expired at 11:59 p.m. EST on September 30, 2025. Military personnel will continue in a normal duty status without pay until such time as a continuing resolution or appropriations are passed by Congress and signed into law. Civilian personnel not engaged in excepted activities will be placed in a non-work, non-pay status.

Preventive care services include periodic health screenings, checkups, and other medical procedures to prevent illnesses, disease, or other health problems.

Preventive Care Services

  • Breast Cancer Screening: Mammograms can be scheduled with Radiology
    • Age 40+, recommended annually
  • Cervical Cancer Screening: Pap Tests can be scheduled with your assigned Primary Care Clinic
    • Age 21-29, recommended every 3 years
    • Age 30-65, recommended Pap Test only every 3 years, Human Papillomavirus (HPV) test only every 5 years, or a co-testing with Pap and HPV every 5 years
