Warrior Operational Medicine Clinic

The Warrior Operational Medicine Clinic (WOMC) provides routine and acute outpatient care for all active duty service members, including Guard and Reserve members on active orders.

Services

WOMC manages outpatient health concerns and duty-related concerns, such as:

  • Shaving waivers
  • Profiles (duty, mobility, and fitness restrictions)
  • MEBs, RILOs (IRILOs, ARILOs)
  • Deployment clearances
  • Overseas PCS clearances
  • Convalescent leave/quarters

Physical Therapy

WOMC offers walk-in Physical Therapy services for recent (30 days or less) musculoskeletal pain or injuries at WOMC. Walk-in Physical Therapy is available Mondays and Tuesdays from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. Physical Therapy also offers appointments at WOMC. Please contact WOMC to schedule an appointment.

Physical Services at WOMC are open to all Active Duty Service members, regardless of assigned primary care clinic.

Walk-In Services

Walk-in services are available:
  • Monday, Tuesday, Thursday from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
  • Wednesday from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
  • Friday 8 a.m. to 11 a.m.
Walk-in services include:
  • Pregnancy test (with two positive home pregnancy tests)
  • Urinary tract infection (UTI) evaluation
  • Cryotherapy services, such as wart removal
  • Blood pressure check (3-day or 5-day check recommended by PCM)
  • Injections such as Depo-Provera (previously established)
  • Suture and staple removal

Acute Appointments

Acute appointments are for non-life-threatening illnesses that require patients to be seen by a WOMC provider within 24 hours. Please call 702-653-CARE (2273) to request a same-day appointment, if available. If acute appointments are unavailable, members may utilize TRICARE network urgent care centers with authorization by calling the MHS Nurse Advice Line.

Routine Appointments

Routine appointments are for present illnesses not causing severe symptoms. For example:

  • Follow-up care for chronic issues
  • Referral requests
  • Medication concerns
  • Pap smears
