The Mike O'Callaghan Military Medical Center Pharmacy at Nellis Air Force Base requires you to activate your prescription -- this means we will not fill your medication unless you contact us.
If your doctor is located at our facility, the prescription will be sent electronically to the Main Pharmacy. If you would like the prescription filled immediately after you were seen, please pull a ticket from the kiosk located in the Main Pharmacy lobby to begin the filling process.
New Prescription Activation
If you were seen by an off-base provider or you were seen at MOMMC but do not need your medications right away, there are 3 ways to activate your new or renewal prescription. Remotely activating your prescriptions via text message is the preferred way to activate your prescriptions and reduce the amount of time you spend waiting at the Pharmacy. Please note: Effective January 1, 2023, in-person activation at the Satellite Pharmacy is no longer permitted

and follow the prompts. Please ensure you enter the information of the person that needs prescription activation. All new or renewal
prescriptions received within the last 90 days will be processed. You will receive a text when the prescription is ready for pick up or if there are any questions or problems.
Message us via the MHS GENESIS Patient Portal
to “Nellis Pharmacy." Include:
- DOD ID, date of birth, medication(s), and phone number
Your prescriptions will be ready for pick up at the Main or Satellite Pharmacy the same day (for new prescriptions) or in three (3) duty days (for refills).

Paper prescriptions may be left in the drop box at the Satellite Pharmacy for next day pickup. For faster service, have your doctor send your medications to our pharmacy electronically
Please ask to be signed up to receive prescription notifications! We will send you a text message notification if we run into any issues while processing your prescription. For example, if we run out of stock or need to call the doctor for a clarification, you will be notified so that you do not have to return to the pharmacy if your prescription is delayed. You will be notified once your prescription is ready for pickup.
