Dermatology

You must see your PCM and obtain a referral to be seen in the Dermatology Clinic.

We offer a wide variety of services in general, pediatric and procedural/surgical dermatology including (but not limited to):

* For concerning lesions or in patients with a history of skin cancer.

How do I see a dermatologist?
You must see your PCM and obtain a referral.
Do you see pediatric patients?
Yes.
Do I have to be seen by a dermatologist on base?
If you are active duty, yes. If you are a dependent or retiree, you can request to be seen downtown. Please contact referral management.
What kind of training do the dermatologists have?
Both dermatologists on base are medical doctors (MDs) who completed dermatology residency and are board-certified by the American Academy of Dermatology. Both have completed 4 years of college (bachelor’s degree), 4 years of medical school, 1 year of internship, and 3 years of dermatology residency (~12,000-16,000 hours of treating patients).
Can I get my skin tags removed?
No. We do not offer removal of benign skin lesions (like skin tags or seborrheic keratosis).
