Labor & Delivery
Labor & Delivery Services
The Labor & Delivery staff understands that birth is a personal, life-changing event and is dedicated to providing the highest quality of care and making this a memorable experience for our patients and their families.
In the absence of complications, the patient controls every aspect of her birth experience. Our nurses, technicians, midwives and obstetricians are there to support the patient throughout the labor, delivery and postpartum period. Best of all, your baby remains with you for your entire hospital stay.
Labor and Birth Accommodations
We encourage you to work with your healthcare provider to decide on a birth plan that’s best for you. Our care team is here to support you through all phases of labor.
Delivery Rooms
We have six private Labor Delivery Recovery rooms and five private postpartum rooms. Each postpartum room includes its own mini fridge for your convenience.
Each room is equipped with a state-of-the-art infant security system to ensure newborn safety. We have also incorporated features to keep your loved ones comfortable, including in-room sleep accommodations for your spouse or birth partner.
Visitor Guidelines
Visitation hours are 24/7/365. Each patient is limited to two visitors during the pushing phase of labor (including the patient’s significant other/support person). One visitor is allowed to stay with the patient overnight after delivery. L&D may limit visitation based on the patient’s clinical status..
Pain Management
If requested, we can provide anesthesia services for pain relief. We currently do not offer water laboring tubs, but we do have showers to help support vaginal delivery without medication.
C-Section Operating Suites
If a cesarean is planned, we have two operating suites located in the unit. Dedicated staff are there to provide specialized care in a comfortable and calm environment.
