Community Health

Food Safety & Sanitation

The Food Safety & Sanitation Program inspects food service operation for compliance and promotes food and water protection for each stage of the production process.  These actions prevent or mitigate intentional or unintentional contamination of the food and water supply at Nellis Air Force Base. The Communicable Disease Program conducts:

  • Sexually Transmitted Infection (STI) Interviews
  • Tuberculosis interviews
  • Blood-borne pathogen exposure interviews
STI Important Information
Initial STI tests will be ordered through the patient’s primary care manager (PCM). If someone has tested positive or has been exposed to any STI, Public Health will call them with any questions, concerns, or to order a follow-up test if necessary.
