Base Operational Medical Clinic (BOMC)
Who We Are
The Base Operational Medicine Clinic (BOMC) is the medical readiness hub for active duty service members. BOMC oversees all medical readiness-related programs including:
- Preventive Health Assessments (PHA)
- Mental Health Assessments (MHA)
- Deployment-related Health Assessments (DrHA)
- Separation Health Physical Examinations (SHPE)
The BOMC also oversees all medical clearance processing for applications related to retraining, overseas PCS, Palace Chase / Palace Front and medical clearances. Finally, BOMC includes the Medical Standards Management Element, which oversees medical profiles, the Airman Medical Readiness Optimization Board (AMRO Board and the DAWG), and the Medical Evaluation Board Office.
